CYPRUS INVESTMENT PROGRAMS
On the 13.2.2019 the Council of Ministers purposing, to ameliorate the “Cyprus Investment Program”, introduced new criteria and terms based on which non–Cypriot entrepreneurs/ investors and members of their families may submit applications in accordance with the provisions of the “Program”.
According to the relevant decision of the Council of Ministers the revised “Program” is put into effect from the date of its publication in the Government Gazette – i.e. the 26th of February 2019 – with the exception of certain clauses which the decision specifies that will be put into effect from the 15th of May 2019.
Below you may find information on the clauses of the “Program” that have immediate effect, as well as all the provisions of the “Cyprus Investment Program” that will be in force between the 26th of February 2019 and the 14th of May 2019.

Permanent Residency Permit (Category F)
This is a permit which grants permanent residency without the right to work in the Republic of Cyprus.
It is granted to the applicant, his (her) spouse and their minor children without the right to work in the Republic of Cyprus ad for a Life-long validity without renewal.
Obtaining Cyprus Citizenship through real estate enables applicants to complete the application process in less than 6 months.
The minimum investment amount is €2 million
The investment must be kept for a minimum period of 3 years
The applicant must have a clean criminal record (including a clean criminal record for spouse, adult children and parents)
The investor must be the holder of a residence permit in Cyprus to qualify for Cyprus citizenship
The fact that obtaining Cyprus Citizenship through the Cyprus Investment Program does not entail a residence permit or a visa but rather Full Citizenship of the Republic of Cyprus.
